Our Force Control Room is the beating heart of policing in Northamptonshire.

Answering emergency 999 calls and non-emergency 101 calls, as well as sending police officers to incidents across the county, our FCR operators are hard at work 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days of the year.

To find out more we are holding a recruitment open evening on Thursday 18th April 2024 at 18:00 at Force Headquarters, where you can find out more about the role, the training involved and hear directly from some of our call handlers and dispatchers why they love the role!

A light-hearted and informal presentation is followed by a Q&A session, open to those considering a career with Northamptonshire Police.

This will be a good opportunity to ask those questions that really matter to you.
