Event -- PCSO June 2026 Intake- Information Evening

Are you passionate about your local community and want to make a valid contribution into keeping our county safe? The role of a Police Community Support Officer may just be the role for you. In supporting the delivery of policing the role of a PCSO is both rewarding and challenging. Locally our PCSOs engage with our local communities and are at the heart of building intelligence and play a vital role in crime reduction and locally based problem solving.

Northamptonshire Police will shortly be recruiting for PCSOs. We are hosting this in person event to provide more detail of the role of the PCSO; how we will train and develop you and how your career can progress. To assist we will be joined by serving PCSOs who will provide a real insight into their role and be available to answer any questions.

Our recruitment team will be available to explain the recruitment process and the Positive Action team will explain their role and the support they provide to candidates through the recruitment and selection process.

This is an informal opportunity for you not only to learn about the PCSO but to discover how that become a stepping stone to develop your career as a Police Officer in Northamptonshire.
